Feels Good To Give
The 24-hour Apple Store on 57th street in NYC gets most of my business because I can stop in on my way home from the studio – usually in the wee hours of the morning. I really appreciate everyone who follows my updates, and I’m always looking for ways to cross the virtual/digital bridge and meet you in person. Here’s an example:
I’m grateful that I can communicate with you directly. Here I was: driving in Manhattan, listening to “Zodiac”, enjoying life, and inspired to pass on the good energy in some way. When I randomly posted the message that I’d be at the Apple Store in 15 minutes giving away signed iPods, I got a few @replies asking if I was joking or misleading everyone. This video shows I’m a man of my word! Listen closely and you’ll hear how the live instrument textures on “Zodiac” really sweetened the record. Stay tuned for more regarding the new album very shortly. Studio vid anyone?

i happen to be one of the lucky fans in the video that ryan purchased the ipod for and the feeling was great not only for the simple fact that he purchased an ipod for us but because it says so much about ryan’s demeanor and his appreciatian of his fans. this was my 2nd time meeting him and both times he’s been very warm, humble, and commendable. i know for a fact that this whole persona of his will stay throughout his entire career. Im a biiiig fan of your music, you can ask anyone i know, i get excited every time i hear one of your songs or something youve produced. People make fun of me about how much i can go on about how talented and educated you are, and crazy because i went to school in Stockton, and know how you graduated from bear creek. see now i sound like stalker, haha, no ive just looked up alot about you. but my main question before this becomes another crazy fan mail that youre probably used to hearing is..
